2nd Foundry and Environment Symposium and Exhibition will be held on the dates between 24 - 26 October 2007 in Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Oditoryum Salonu Beşiktaş-İstanbul by the UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers and Balkan Center for Advanced Casting Technologies. 

The amount of foundry waste disposals are increasing every year in Turkey and today it has reached up 450.000 tons / year according to the result of sectoral developments. Today it is necessary to collect, carry and re-cycle of those wastes periodically in certain regulations and create a management system for re-cycling. National and International regulations of recycling of those wastes must be prepared according to the scientific and sectoral inputs. 

Companies in casting sector should work together in harmony with the environment. This approach is our responsibilty to the environement and puplic. The main target of this symposium is to pay an attention to the problems which takes place between the companies and environement management. 

By this symposium it is aming to establish relationships between producers, users, investors and sellers and to create a platform to discus and share their experiences. 

During the three days period, at the presentation place there will be an exhibition where the sector manufacturers will be able to exhibit and present their products.
