3rd International Foundry and Environment Symposium will be held on the dates between 28-29 January 2010 in Yıldız Technical University Auditorium Besiktas-Istanbul by the UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers, The Turkish Foundrymen's Association (TÜDÖKSAD) and Balkan Center for Advanced Casting Technologies (BCACT)
Environment consciousness in industrial manufacturing is essential necessity. Foundry industry is overriding importance for our country and should work in harmony with the environment. The main target of this symposium is to pay an attention to the problems which takes place between the companies and environement management. By this symposium it is aming to establish relationships between producers, users, investors and sellers and to create a platformto discus and share their experiences.
During the two days period, at the presentation place there will be an exhibition where the sector manufacturers will be able to exhibit and present their products.
Conditions of Accession to the Symposium
The attendees who want to present articles have to deliver the abstract, keywords, addresses, telephone, fax and e-mail informations to the Symposium Coordinator until 31 July 2009. Online abstract submission is available via www.tudoksad.org.tr
Abstracts should summarize the study carried out and give the main conclusions and findings of the study and limited to 150 words.
The writing format of the articles has to be Times New Roman, 12 pt. And with one line space.
Abstracts will be evaluated by the executive committee of the symposium and the authors will be informed to send the whole manuscripts.
Complete manuscripts have to be sent to be the symposium coordinator until 23 October 2009.
The authers will be informed if the articles are accepted / rejected for symposium, will be placed at oral or poster sessions.
During the symposium, articles with commercial content will be possible to be presented.
