GENERAL INFORMATION

13^th International Metallurgy-Materials Congress (IMMC 2006) is going to be held in the TUYAP Exhibition and Convention Center - ISTANBUL between 9-11 November 2006.

IMMC 2006, organised by UCEAT Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers, will be held at the same time and place with 3^rd International Ankiros Foundry Congress organised by Foundrymen’s Association of Turkey, and the following exhibitions organised by Hannover-Messe Ankiros Fair Organisation:

• ANKIROS 2006, 8^th International Iron-Steel and Foundry Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair

• ANNOFER 2006, 7^th International Non-ferrous Metals Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair

• TURKCAST 2006, 2^nd Foundry Products Trade Fair

Starting from the first congress hold in 1975, “IMMC” had been the leading activity covering all the related metallurgy-materials industry of Turkey.

During IMMC 2006, the participants will have the opportunity to follow the latest developments in the industry and academic researches of universities and institutions. Novel designs and products will also be presented by the national and international companies.

Within the technical sessions eligible papers will be presented by the experts in their fields. Apart from these papers, some panels will also be organised on certain important topics.
