14th International Metallurgy & Materials Congress (IMMC 2008) is going to be held in the TÜYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center, Beylikdüzü / İSTANBUL, on October 16 - 18, 2008.

• ANKIROS 2008, 9th International Iron-Steel and Foundry Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair 
• ANNOFER 2008, 8th International Non-Ferrous Metals Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair 
• TURKCAST 2008, 3rd Foundry Products Trade Fair

Foundrymen’s Association of Turkey organized by,
• 4th International Ankiros Foundry Congress will be held at the same time and place.

"IMMC" has been the leading event covering all the metallurgy and materials related aspects of Turkish industry, since the first congress held in 1975. 

During IMMC 2008, the participants will have the opportunity to follow the latest developments in the industry and academic researches of universities and institutions. Novel designs and products will also be presented by the national and international companies.

Within the technical sessions eligible papers will be presented by the experts in their fields. Apart from these papers, some panels will also be organized on certain important topics.

During the 13th Metallurgy and Materials Congress, which was held in 2006, 196 papers (from 20 countries) were presented.

YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARDS will be granted this year as well, to those who have applied either directly or via nomination. Details will be announced later.

Embracing the whole Metallurgy and Materials sector in Turkey, attention to the 14th International Metallurgy and Materials Congress is expected to rise.
