PROFESSOR IGOR ALEXANDROV

Dr. Alexandrov graduated from Solid State Physics department of Bashkir State University, Ufa, Russia, in 1976. He received his Ph.D. degree in solid state physics from Institute of Physics of Metals, the Urals branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ekaterinburg, Russia, in 1997. He became professor at Ufa State Aviation Technical University, in 2002. Dr. Alexandrov authored more than 206 publications in internationally acknowledged and refereed journals and holds more than 20 awards and honors, including; British Council Scholarship in 1985, Grant of Lu Jiaxi Foundation of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995, Grant of the President of Republic Bashkortostan in 1996, Grant of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in 1999, and The Honored Scientist of Bashkortostan Republic in 2002. He also presented 68 lectures and talks in various symposia, congresses, and scientific meetings.
